Scott's Health Tips:

End-of-the-Semester
Health Tip #16, 12 December 1996

Aliens

CONGRATULATIONS!
Fall 1996 is over and we
are outta here for Holiday vacation!

Cindy and I have had a very enjoyable semester as your Freeborn Hall Health Workers and we are very much looking forward to next year! Just as we have learned a lot through this position so far, we hope that you too have learned something from us, such as through our Health Tips, Bulletin Boards, and Programs. Next semester, from myself at least, you can expect to see Health Tips dealing with heavier topics than stuff like Fingernails, Fitness, Finals, and Flu like Ive been doing so far. Instead Ill be doing things like Alcohol & Other Drugs, Safer Sex, Assault, etc. So if you have any requests for anything in particular, let me know somehow.

Roger RabbitOf course, we are both available for you during these finals weeks, as well as during Welcome Week next semester, in case you need any first aid, counseling, or whatever. Also, we still have some condoms left, so come on by and you can stock up now for vacation, since well be receiving another supply to distribute in January.

My website (http://trimble.reshall.berkeley.edu/) which includes the History of U.C. Berkeley, the Freeborn Hall Homepage, and Health Worker webpages, among other things, will be down from around Dec 20th to Jan 13th. That also means the media collection of movies, sounds, texts, and pictures on my computer, Ferdinand (located on the Freeborn workgroup of the Berkeley network, as well as by FTP of my site), will also be gone. So do your downloading soon, after your last final! By the way, if youve never looked at the Health Worker webpage, heres my chance to plug it. All of the topics weve done so far are always online, not just the current weeks Health Tip that appears on the bulletin boards, so you can easily go back and see old stuff that you might not have needed to read before. Also, all the pictures (such as Alien and Roger Rabbit, above) are larger and in color!

As you can see, this Health Tip was hardly necessary, but Ive got some FREE TIME now that three of my finals are over!! Besides, I wouldnt want to leave you guys without anything new to read or look at next to the elevator this week!
