At last, here are the answers to some of the many questions that we have received in the Q & A Box over the last few weeks! The answers are necessarily brief to fit as many as possible, so if you want more information or have questions , please let us know....
How often should I vacuum and clean the bed to avoid bed bugs? You should vacuum enough to keep your room clean from dustballs on the floor. Bedbugs, which feed for only about 10-15 minutes at night and greatly dislike light, do not hide in the body or clothes, so it is the room and bedding that need to be treated.
Does that mind-over-matter thing really work, i.e. not admitting that you�re sick? To an extent. You need to admit that you are sick in order to take the proper steps to make yourself better: rest, water, medicine, etc. But having a positive attitude throughout the sickness (and in everyday life as well) will definitely be beneficial to your immune system and will help your body fight disease.
How do you naturally get bigger breasts? Naturally? Do you mean like some kind of wonder-vitamin or health food? Nothing like that really exists since breast size is determined genetically. It is true that bras can give the impression that the breasts are larger than they appear, but do understand that breast size isn�t the most important thing a man considers when he�s interested in someone.
What is the average length of a penis? Penises do vary in size, especially when they are not erect, but they usually average out to 5-7 inches when they are erect. Don�t worry about penis size, though, because, contrary to popular belief, there isn�t much difference in the pleasure the partner receives. As that corny old phrase goes, "It�s not the size of the tool, but the skill of craftsman."
Why do some young people have white hairs? Genetics. Some people just start turning gray earlier than others. It is more common among Asians than among, for example, whites, but there are exceptions, such as actor Steve Martin.
How do I stop balding? There is no known cure for balding. Rogaine (and generics) help some people, but it is not a proven cure and does not work for all. But, hey, Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard, see picture above) was once voted Sexiest Man in America!
How do I get rid of bad breath? Bad breath is most often caused by periodontal disease (infection of the gums). It can stem from something as simple as food particles lodged between the teeth or a dry mouth, to more serious conditions like respiratory or gastrointestinal disorders. Other factors may be smoking, alcoholic drinks, and such foods as garlic and onions. Try changing these factors or at least be sure to brush your teeth often and use breath fresheners.
How common is it to get genital herpes from oral sex, or what if they have a cold sore? Herpes is a contagious diseases that is spread through physical contact, so this does happen quite commonly. For more information on cold sores, refer to Cindy�s Health Tip #11 on Cold Sores. When you have a sore, it is best to refrain from oral sex.
